What is Prospect Park Soiree?
Prospect Park Soiree is an outdoor dinner and dance party that takes place in Prospect Park on a Saturday evening in June. We provide the entertainment and breathtaking setting, while you gather with thousands of friends and neighbors to enjoy an evening under the stars in Prospect Park. Wear festive attire, prepare a delicious feast and dine and dance under the stars in one of Prospect Park’s most scenic locations, the Peninsula. Show off your creativity with a show-stopping topper—a fabulous hat or headpiece of your choosing—as well as table décor that celebrates the beautiful surroundings, and raise your glass in a toast to Brooklyn's Backyard.
Soiree Tickets
Tickets are on sale now for Prospect Park Soiree! Individual tickets are $55 through April 30, and then increase to $60. A limited number of Party Packs of 10 tickets will be available that include two complimentary bottles of wine. Proceeds benefit Prospect Park Alliance, the non-profit organization that sustains, restores and advances Prospect Park for the benefit of the diverse communities that call Brooklyn home.
What to Bring
Tables, chairs and entertainment are provided (tables are 8 feet long). Bring an elegant picnic dinner for you and your guests. Please bring a tablecloth, cups, plates, cutlery, serving dishes and table décor, as well as trash bags, to bag your trash at the end of the night. We recommend bringing reusable containers and tableware to minimize waste and keep the park clean. You can bring one bottle of wine or one six-pack of beer per person, but no hard alcohol. Bags will be checked at the door. Purchased a Party Pack? You are eligible for two complimentary bottles of wine. The person who purchased the Party Pack should visit our wine pick up tent near the entrance with their ticket and photo ID to pick up their 2 complimentary bottles of wine.
Decor, Dinner, Drinks + Attire
Your creativity makes the Soiree unique! Showcase your imagination through your dress, table décor and food. We encourage guests to wear a hat or other creative headpiece. Think of your outfit as another creative canvas and come prepared to strut your stuff. Your ensemble can be any color or style. Please note, tables are 8 feet long. Event Timeline
5 pm: Gates open. Seating is first-come, first-served, and guaranteed for all guests. Tables seat 10 people, so small groups are encouraged to share tables.
6 pm: Soiree kicks off with live entertainment.
8 pm: Dance party begins with a live DJ set.
10 pm: Soiree concludes. Please clean your table and bag your trash before you leave.
Please note:
Prospect Park Soiree takes place rain or shine; tickets are not refundable; there is no rain date. All best efforts will be made to present the Soiree regardless of weather. Tickets are transferable to another attendee.
Due to the presence of alcohol, this is a 21+ event. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted and guests will be asked for identification.
Please bring only beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks; no hard alcohol. Bags will be checked at the door.
Guests bring their own food, drinks, table décor, dishes, cups and utensils. Only tables and chairs are provided.
Seating is first-come, first-served, and guaranteed for all guests. When you arrive, simply claim seats for your party. Groups smaller than 10 people are encouraged to share tables.
Pets are not allowed at Prospect Park Soiree.
Help us keep the park green and vibrant: please bag your trash and opt for reusable containers and tableware.
Barbecues and other open flames such as candles are not allowed; smoking is prohibited in Prospect Park.
Tents and other structures are not permitted.
Balloons are not allowed in Prospect Park; please refrain from using balloons in table decor.
The park is not open to vehicles; bike parking will also be available.
