What is Prospect Park Soiree?
Prospect Park Soiree is an outdoor dinner and dance party that takes place in Prospect Park on a Saturday evening in June. We provide the entertainment and breathtaking setting, while you gather with thousands of friends and neighbors to enjoy an evening under the stars in Prospect Park. Wear your most festive attire, prepare a delicious feast, bring (or preorder!) your favorite bottle of wine, and dine and dance under the stars in one of Prospect Park’s most scenic locations. Show off your creativity with your attire and table décor, and raise your glass in a toast to Brooklyn's Backyard.

Soiree Tickets
Individual tickets are $60 through March 31, and then increase to $65 on April 1. Proceeds benefit Prospect Park Alliance, the non-profit organization that sustains, restores and advances Prospect Park for the benefit of the diverse communities that call Brooklyn home.

What to Bring
Tables, chairs and entertainment are provided (tables are 8 feet long). Please bring the following:

  • Picnic dinner for you and your guests

  • Beverages: beer and wine are permitted (one bottle of wine or one six pack of beer per person). Hard alcohol is prohibited, and bags will be inspected at the door. Want to lighten the load? Preorder wine for pickup onsite from partner City Winery.

  • Table décor and all serving/eating utensils

  • Trash bags

Accessibility & Accommodations

This is an outdoor pop-up event and we make our best efforts to host a safe, inclusive, accessible party.

  • The event location is accessible via paved, ADA-compliant pathways from multiple park entrances; the closest is at Prospect Park Southwest & Vanderbilt St.  Shuttle service is available upon request.

  • Soiree is hosted on the Peninsula, a large, short-cut grass lawn. The terrain has some bumpy, sloping areas but is generally firm and stable. Grass may become slick with rain. There are no staircases.

  • There are ADA-accessible portable toilets at the venue and restrooms in the nearby Wellhouse.

  • We provide folding chairs without arms. Chairs can be removed from tables to make space for wheelchairs.

  • Service animals are welcome; pets are not allowed.

  • The music performance may incorporate flashing/strobing lights.

  • Signage will be printed in large, readable font. Staff and volunteers onsite are able to provide verbal descriptions of any signs.
